As part of the BSI Organizational Series, BSI Ireland will be hosting this Risk to Resilience event in a cyber age.
Join BSI Cybersecurity and Information Resilience to get knowledge and guidance on the very latest in Cybersecurity, Information Resilience, market insights on cybercrime and compliance around General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
As part of BSI’s Organizational Resilience strategy, Information Resilience forms an integral part of this. During this morning briefing, we will talk you through what Organizational Resilience is and how we can make your own organization resilient.
We will also be bringing in some external expertise from the cybercrime bureau to talk you through the scale of cyber-threat both locally and internationally and how BSI can make you resilient. GDPR, the catch-all acronym on the tip of everyone’s tongue, but few are actually providing expertise consultation or solutions on.
BSI will talk you through what GDPR actually is, what it means for your client and organization and the step by step process to make you compliant with the new regulation before and after 25 May 2018. The day will then focus on some sector research that we have conducted in medical devices and cybersecurity from our R&D department leading into Information Resilience from a standard, certification and assurance perspective.
The last session focusses on Organizational Resilience and how companies are now adopting this approach to ensure longevity and sustainability. We will wrap up with a Q&A session. Lunch will be provided by BSI.
