Accessible EV charging PAS 1899 – demonstrate your compliance

17 January 2024 14:00 - 15:00 UK

There are over 14 million disabled people in the UK, with 2.35 million vehicle owners and passengers accessing the blue badge parking scheme. Of these, it’s expected that 1.35 million disabled consumers will be reliant on public charge point infrastructure.

In October 2022, PAS 1899, co-sponsored by Motability Foundation and the UK Government, was published. The standard is designed to provide best-practice guidance for designers, procures, and installers of public charge points.

Please join our webinar to find out more about the standard itself as well as a route to compliance using BSI. During this joint event, you can interact with Motability Foundation Head of Innovation Catherine Marris and BSI Certification – Callum Snell to answer all questions you may have.

In this webinar, you will be able to learn about the following:

  • Key drivers and objectives for new standard development
  • An example of the route to compliance with BSI for designers, manufacturers, procurers, ad installers
