The CB Scheme (Certification Body Scheme) is a globally recognized program managed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) under its System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrical Equipment (IECEE).  

This program simplifies international market entry by facilitating the mutual recognition of test results for electrical and electronic products across participating countries. By securing a CB test certificate, manufacturers can demonstrate a product's safety; while this alone won't enable a product to go straight onto the new market and other requirements specific to the country may need to be met, it significantly streamlines the process of launching products in markets.  

The CB Scheme covers various products, including, but not limited to, household appliances, IT equipment, lighting, medical devices, and much more.
