Alison holds a BSc (Hons), a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education, a TAP Diploma in Learning and Development, and a Foundation Certificate in Transformational Coaching. She joined the food industry right after university, working as a technologist, recipe developer, consultant, and writer before moving into teaching and training. Before joining BSI, she was Training and Conference Manager at Leatherhead Food International and Head of Academy Programmes at BRCGS Global Standards, designing and delivering courses and training global partners.
Jill Stuber
Vice President and Co-founder, Catalyst, LLC
Jill, an ICF-certified coach with degrees in Food Science and Quality Management, collaborates with organizations to develop confident, clear, and community-focused technical leaders in the food industry. In 2021, she and co-founded Catalyst, LLC, where they empower technical experts to become leaders through a coaching-based curriculum that enhances organizational culture and business outcomes.
Damarys Del Castillo
Director of Quality Culture and Food Safety Systems, Sigma
Damarys holds a BS in Animal Science from the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez and an MS in Food Safety with a certification in International Food Laws from Michigan State University. With over 25 years in the food industry, she specializes in thermal processing, pasteurization, low-moisture foods, canned foods, and meat products. She has completed extensive training in BPCS, HACCP, PCQI, FSVP, and other food safety areas.
Chris McCrystal
Global Head of Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Compass Group PLC
Chris is a past graduate of the University of Huddersfield, England with an Honours degree in Food & Nutrition. With 30 years of international experience across both the manufacturing and food service sectors, he is responsible for overseeing global food safety resilience and performance from farm to fork. Prior to Compass Group, Chris held senior site FSQA management roles in the meat industry with both OSI Group and Cargill and latterly spent several years based in Asia for one of the world’s largest privately owned importers and exporters of food.
