Inspiring trust for a more resilient world.

BSI Food Safety Culture Masterclass Webinar

Responsible business practices are at the heart of every resilient organization. And in today’s changing business environment, organizations need innovative ways to deliver assurance in their social performance and provide continuity throughout the supply chain.
SMETA is one of the most widely used social audit procedures in the world. It provides a globally recognised way to assess responsible supply chain activities, including labour rights, health & safety, the environment and business ethics.

Shammi Singh, Global Social Audit Expert and Head of BSI’s supply chain hub, and guest Vishal Londhe, Business Head from Sedex India, will help you to understand more about SMETA and how Sedex Virtual Assessments (SVA) can help your organization to reduce risks, protect company reputation, and improve supply chain practices. This will include the process involved in this new assessment methodology and the benefits it can bring to your responsible and ethical business practices.

Whether you’re a global retail brand, manufacturer or supplier, our webinar will provide an overview of SMETA and focus on supporting you to embrace the new virtual assessment methodology by focusing on:

•    The importance of managing social performance
•    Overview of Sedex and type of memberships
