Protect your people with ISO 45001 - the new OH&S Standard

Date: Wednesday, April 10, 2019

Time: 2 pm - 3 pm EST

Your Host: Vanessa Zamora

About this event

ISO 45001, the first global standard for occupational health and safety, was published in 2018. This new standard has now been embraced worldwide as a framework to protect workers across the globe.

This webinar will discuss the need to embrace the new standard, which aligns health & safety management systems worldwide and reflects increasingly complex organizational environments in the international marketplace. Join us to start your journey to implementation of the new standard, which will replace OHSAS 18001, the previous OH&S standard that will be retired by BSI, once all clients have migrated to the new standard.

What you will learn:

Why 45001?

  • Why ISO 45001 is the first globally recognized standard for OH&S
  • The worldwide need to harmonize health & safety management systems
  • The importance of providing safe and healthy working conditions for workers
  • How ISO 45001 reflects increasingly complex organizational environments
  • Key changes from OHSAS 18001 and new themes in the ISO 45001
  • What is the Annex SL (High Level Structure) and how it simplifies the integration of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and the new ISO 45001
  • The migration process and how it will work for your company
