Protecting your data; now and in the future
Inspiring trust for a more resilient world.

Webinar on demand: How to protect your data; now and in the future

Recorded: 24 September 2020, 14:00-15:00 (UK time)

Where does the protection of key data sit amongst your priorities as a business? The true cost of a poorly managed cyber attack can be far greater than the physical cost of the information stolen. The reputational damage can last years; or even in extreme cases, cause a business to cease trading.

In the 21st century, there is no way to guarantee that your data will never be attacked- but there are a number of steps you can take to minimise the chances and reduce the impact when such attacks take place. For example; two-step verification was found by Google in 2019 to block 100% of automated attacks and 96% of bulk phishing attacks.

Increasing the protection around data can prevent that data being used in its normal business crucial function. BSI has a whole host of standards within the personal data, information security and business continuity sphere. Our experts will demonstrate why these are so crucial and how you can go about implementing them within your business.

Tim looked into:

  • Insight into emerging topics in cyber security and why the area keeps evolving
  • Insight into what will be happening with standards in the future
  • Learn about how you can get involved in standards and shape them.

Mike looked into:

  • How an organization can integrate information security into their processes
  • How ISO27701 compliments an existing ISO27001 compliant ISMS
  • Why both are important to any organization.
