Procuring net zero construction- how does collaboration improve outcomes?

Monday 23rd May, 2pm-3pm

In this webinar, Professor David Mosey of King’s College London will explore new findings that show how net zero carbon targets can be achieved through collaborative approaches to procurement.

Building and construction operations are estimated to be responsible for 39% of all carbon emissions in the world, and significant procurement changes are required to ensure that net zero solutions are adopted as the new industry norms.

Professor Mosey has led research recently published by the Society of Construction Law, examining how the construction industry and its clients can use collaborative construction procurement practices to reduce carbon emissions, and he will explain the impact of new approaches to procurement strategies, team selection, contracts and management.
