Mr. Andy Butterfield – Managing Director, Global Built Environment, The British Standards Institutions (BSI)

As Managing Director for the Global Built Environment at BSI, Andy is responsible for coordinating the global vision and strategy to enable a safer, sustainable, resilient built environment. He works with and supports colleagues and teams around the world, operating across BSI’s streams of knowledge solutions, training, assurance and consultancy.
Working in collaboration with industry stakeholders and clients, Andy drives innovation and product development activities to support new developments in the market, including the adoption of digital transformation, acceleration of smart city initiatives and the circular economy.
Having over 30 years of experience within quality assurance, testing and certification, Andy is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and ISO 9001:2000 Lead Assessor and has in-depth knowledge of market development for certification programmes and systems within the Built Environment, from construction products, to management systems across key industry developments such as BIM, innovation, and smart cities.

Mr. Kevin Wong – Sector Development Director, APAC Built Environment, The British Standards Institutions (BSI)

Kevin is an active leader in built environment sector, working with global brands, governments, universities and industry associations partners to bring their requirements into acceptable market compliance with regulatory and performance. The Hong Kong Construction Industry Council’s Certified BIM Manager Programme is one of his recent projects that demonstrating how the collaboration between industry stakeholders could make a difference.
He is based in Hong Kong, currently the Sector Development Director of Asia Pacific region for BSI Group covering Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. Kevin has Civil and Structural Engineering Degree and master degree in information technology, with 20 years work experience in the international standards, construction design management and construction products sector.

Ir Dr Llewellyn Tang - Founder and CEO of Llewellyn and Partners Co Ltd (LPC) Associate Professor of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Department of Real Estate and Construction, Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong Programme Director of MSc in Integrated Project Delivery, The University of Hong Kong

Tang is the Founder and CEO of Llewellyn and Partners Co Ltd (LPC, 1st BSI Kitemark for BIM Software (ISO19650)) and an Associate Professor of BIM at HKU. As an international BIM R&D innovation and information management advocator, educator, and innovator for construction new normal. In the last decade, Tang and his team led and involved in many large-scale BIM and information management R&D projects in the UK, China and Hong Kong. It includes introducing the UK BIM level 2 (PAS1192/ISO 19650) into China with integration of BIM, GIS, IoT and Blockchain technologies for ecosystem reshaping. With the experience and knowledge, Tang is one of the advocates of BIM in the bringing the West and East together East Asia to drive the digitalization and smart city in Hong Kong since 2019.
