How local authorities can assure a credible sustainability strategy
The UK Government’s aim is to reach net zero emissions by 2050, and local authorities play a critical role in achieving these national targets.
If the UK is to achieve this ambition then every town and city in the country needs to start by delivering an effective sustainability strategy.
ISO management system standards provide credible assurance to your carbon inventory, methodology, targets, and management controls. They provide a framework to ensure your company meet sustainability goals on time, and on budget. But it can often be hard to understand what is involved and even where to start.
