Varun specialises in the development and implementation of business processes for the management of information when using building information modelling (BIM) and other allied technologies. He is leading digital initiative in the organization for implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) for various business units of organization. Serving as a trusted advisor for last 11 years in AEC industry, helps to streamline the design process utilizing BIM data to increase productivity and cost effectiveness along with deep understanding of international BIM Standards like BS 1192 -2 ,3 & 4, ISO 19650 1 & 2 also proud to be part of Organization which world’s first tier 01 design consulting organization to get ISO 19650 certified from BSI UK. With dedicated hands-on experience in Building Information Modelling Standards and expertise in other Autodesk AEC products like Revit, AutoCAD, Vassari, Solibri model checker, and Navisworks. He has been involved in training, supporting and BIM implementation in various domestic and international projects.
He carries a wide portfolio of experience in implementing digital technologies for commercial, Residential, Educational and other sectors. Key responsibilities overseen by him during his tenure include creation on BIM templates and workflows, creation of MEP models, extraction of BOQ, Creation of Clash detection reports, Development of quality checking checklist and project Kick Start documents, producing 2D & 3D coordinated drawings using Revit MEP. Including implementation of PAS 1192-2 ,3 & 4, ISO 19650 Standards in various design and construction projects.
