India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision calls for a digitally transformed AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Operations) sector to deliver resilient, sustainable, and future-ready infrastructure.

To support this transformation, BSI, in collaboration with the UK Department for Business & Trade (DBT), is launching the BIM Roadshow 2025 – India, with a strong focus on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the ISO 19650 suite of standards.

This initiative reflects the growing emphasis on digitalisation within India’s infrastructure sector and the deepening strategic ties between the UK and India, as envisioned in the UK-India Free Trade Agreement (FTA) focused on fostering innovation, knowledge exchange, and digital capability development.

As part of this movement, we are convening BIM Leadership Forums across key cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, co-facilitated with India’s top academic institutions:

  • IIT Delhi
  • IIT Bombay
  • IIT Madras
  • IISc Bengaluru
  • CEPT University

Focus Areas

  • Current BIM & ISO 19650 adoption in India
  • Key challenges in implementation
  • Strategic solutions to overcome barriers
  • Opportunities for large-scale BIM adoption
  • Co-creating a national BIM roadmap

Why Attend?

These forums will bring together senior decision-makers, digital transformation leaders, policymakers, regulators, and academics to share insights, collaborate on solutions, and shape the future of BIM in India.

Each session will be highly interactive and outcome-driven, with key findings consolidated into a public report to support BIM adoption nationwide.

Participation is free but limited to 60 seats per city on a first-come, first-serve basis.
