Motability Foundation endorsed scheme
There are over 14 million disabled people in the UK, with 2.35 million vehicle owners and passengers accessing the blue badge parking scheme. Of these, it’s expected that 1.35 million disabled consumers will be reliant on public charge point infrastructure.
In October 2022, PAS 1899, co-sponsored by Motability Foundation and the UK Government, was published. The standard is designed to provide best-practice guidance for designers, procures, and installers of public charge points.
