AI Performance

AI Performance addresses a critical stage in the AI product lifecycle - the independent verification of model and system performance.

AI Performance is the testing of AI algorithms, models and systems that verifies function against AI metrics for Performance, Robustness and Fairness.

EU AI Act

The EU AI Act is the first comprehensive law regulating artificial intelligence in the EU, using a risk-based approach: banning harmful uses (like social scoring), imposing strict rules on high-risk systems (e.g., healthcare, law enforcement), and setting transparency requirements for general-purpose AI models. It applies to any AI used in the EU, even if developed elsewhere, and includes hefty fines for non-compliance (up to €35 million or 7% of global turnover). Implementation began in 2025, following entry into force in 2024, and will phase in through August 2027.
